Ladies League info:
Informational meeting will be April 29 at 6pm at Saddleback.
The goal of the SWGA (Saddleback Women’s Golf Association)
is to promote the enjoyment of the game of golf by women golfers
and create fellowship among its members
through organized weekly play and social activities.
We welcome all women golfers who find enjoyment in the game of golf
regardless of level of play…from those who are just beginning
and would like to meet other women golfers
to those who have been playing on a regular basis.
We will strive to help all women improve their game by having fun,
meeting new friends, and understanding the rules of golf.
We are NOT a highly competitive league,
but we do have weekly games (included in your league fees)
in which to compete.
We try to gear these towards all levels of play.
We also have a Hole in One club,
if you make a hole in one at Saddleback,
on a league day and it is witnessed by another league member,
you win the pot!
Our League Day is Wednesdays. May 6st will be the 1st day of League,
you can either play anytime during the day
or join us at 5:15pm for a shotgun start.
Sign-ups for the shotgun will start the Thursday before league day
via a google doc we will all be able to access and close Monday
prior to league day.
If you are not doing the shotgun start
you are responsible for making your own tee time
and finding your own playing partner.
Tee times can be made up to two weeks prior
either online or in the pro shop
Aug 26th will be the last day of league,
end of year party will be at 7:30pm at Saddleback.
A few notes about this season,
Wednesday night league will have weekly games and prizes
for each flight.
You can play 18 holes if you choose
but you are asked to keep a separate scorecard for the 9 holes
that the rest of the league is playing that day.
League dues do not include greens fees,
Saddleback is offering 20% off of green fees,
this is different than last year,
because Saddleback uses dynamic pricing,
this is a much better deal than them giving us a set fee
for the season.
This is the same deal the Mens club has
so it makes sense for us as well.
They will still be have Women’s Wednesday
if you want to play 18 holes.
Women’s Wednesday this year is $59 for 18 with cart.
